Los Angeles Synthpop duo Father Tiger just released their very first music video. It’s not news that I dig their work, but the video for “Shell” is impressive not only for the music (which is great), but the looser marketing/social media supervisor day-job me was left completely drop-jaw by the use of social media and hand held technology. With director Jeff McHale, artist John Parot, the help of fans from across the country, and Siri, they used Instagram to source images and filter video. The final version incites total unadulterated joy. You can check out both their music video for “Shell” and the making of “Shell” here, but would also I recommend checking out their site.
Do Apple and Instagram know this exists?
